Energy Healing Basics - Reiki and Tantric and Pranic

You have likely encountered exotic-sounding terminology like "chakra," "prana," "aura," and "tantra" when perusing books on spirituality, sex, and healing in the bookstore's New Age literature section. What is the true meaning of these unusual vocabularies, though?

Do Energy Healing All Work the Same Way?

In the ancient Hindu system of energy therapy known as Pranic healing, the term "chakra" or "energy center" is utilized. "Prana" is the word for life force. Another concept linked to Pranic healing is "aura." Aura is an energy-based non-physical body that coexists with our physical body. The seven levels of the aura that surrounds our bodies are thought to represent the energy manifestations of our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves. Analyzing the hue and density of auras provides insight into a person's health. Six personalities are represented by the six hues that are linked to aura. Although a person has all of these colors, some are more noticeable than others.

  • Green – ambitious achiever

  • Blue – spiritual peacemaker

  • White – unconventional chameleon

  • Red – activist

  • Orange – creative communicator

  • Violet – psychic

Tantra is another energy healing technique, despite being often linked to the strange sex and spiritual practices. The word "tan," which meaning to spread or expand, is where it originates. Tantric texts on sex and spirituality frequently touch on the idea of connectivity. Sex and spirituality have a major role as healing practices. It is assumed that orgasm, which purges the body and psyche of accumulated impurities, can elevate a man and woman's relationship to spiritual dimensions. As negative energies, these pollutants can then show up as bodily ailments.

Reiki began in Japan, in contrast to the Hindu origins of Pranic and Tantric healings. Having been rediscovered in the early 1900s, it is comparatively more recent than Tantric and Pranic healings. Reiki is an acronym for the universal energy that higher intelligence brings forth. Reiki practitioners learn how to use this energy to treat mental, emotional, and physical ailments.

Though they are all energy healing techniques, Pranic, Tantra, and Reiki use different types of energy to heal—life energy, sexual energy, and universal energy, respectively.

Some of the most notable parallels among these three healing modalities are the ideas of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit; the interconnectedness of people with the universe and all living and nonliving objects in their environment; and the influence of energy on physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Why Do People Turn to Energy Healing?

Alternative healing techniques include Reiki, Tantric, and Pranic. How come modern medicine is becoming more and more popular despite its availability and relative accessibility? Here are a few potential explanations:

  • Energy healing worked where modern medicine failed.

Modern medical treatment has failed to cure many people's maladies and conditions for a variety of causes, both known and unknown. This claim might not be supported by data or research. In order to recover, however, both the dying patient and their family would risk utilizing alternative therapies, such as herbal and organic remedies, faith healers, witch doctors, and New Age healing methods.

  • People perceive modern medicine to be isolating.

The sickness and its cause are frequently the focus of medical therapies, which can make a patient feel alone and treated like a disease host. The belief endures despite current advancements in hospital procedures that are progressively encouraging a patient's holistic care. In contrast to energy healing, the patient feels as though all facets of his health are being addressed because spirituality and energy are closely related.

  • Energy healing is non-obtrusive and natural thus it is safer.

Most patients experience both physical and psychological trauma from repeated surgical operations. Searching for less stressful health procedures is a sensible and alluring choice for patients and their families. Furthermore, being natural is the way to go given the growing popularity of New Age religions.

  • Energy healing is a good way of relieving stress.

Energy healing techniques include meditation, which is an extra benefit for those who are under a lot of stress. Additionally, the fact that advanced equipment is not needed makes energy healing even more simple for current and prospective students.

Despite the advantages of each technique, the conflict between conventional medicine and alternative healing persists. However, the return of excellent health is ultimately what counts.
